I worked for the NHS for fifteen years in senior roles through the GP Fundholding programme, the emergence and establishment of Primary Care Groups and the subsequent development of Primary Care Trusts, and was a Primary Care Trust board member for five years, leading on strategic and business planning; NHS LIFT and joint planning for local public sector infrastructure.
Recently, I have been delivering a number of training and workshop sessions on the way in which the NHS comissioning is funded, organised and changing - aimed at external organisations, clinical groups and professional bodies - and I continue to develop and refine these in line with proposed and actual changes to the public sector.
